Recently, I have had to take back items where the buyer didn't check with mom/dad, husband/wife, or God prior to buying and did a return. I will work with ALL my customers to resolve the problem. That said even though the box/item may not show damage, the internal mechanism may have been damaged or jarred from a rough truck and/or plane ride. ![]() Keep in mind, that I mainly sell vintage computers and vintage computer accessories. Also, I do not need an eBay policy to do what is right and accept the item back if it wasn't as described or damaged during shipping. Even though it is marked a "no return, "a buyer can still submit a return if the item was not as described or the item was damaged during shipping. After using the item for days and weeks, the buyer can submit a return and is not obligated to reimburse the seller for shipping charges and I have to pay for shipping charges back. This is being done to protect me against returns such as (buyer's remorse). Please ask prior to purchasing the computer.I do not ship on the weekends.I only use eBay Global Shipping Service on International Order, no exceptions.eBay policies leave me with no choice but to mark each of my auctions with a "no return" policy. I do remember cleaning the heads.I had the computer on for about 15 minutes and no sign of smoke. ![]() I don't remember if I tested the 5.25" floppy drive. Cards included are video card (CGA), modem, network printer, and parallel port. The HD shows a lot of software already loaded (see photos). All keys on the keyboard were tested and work as they should.The computer powered up and I was able to access the BIOS and 40Mb hard drive. The computer stand levers work as they should. Typically with theses kind of portable computers, the handle is usually a mess. The handle is very clean without tears, rips, or signs of use. The monitor has a very clear image without any burn-in. However, there are not cracks in the case. There are nicks, marks, and scratches on the case from daily use years ago. I did not open this computer to clean the inside out. Working 1989 Transdata Portable Luggable Compaq 286 Clone Computer w/ 640Kb RAMCase and keyboard were wipe down and cleaned. ![]()
